  • Comments Thread For: Froch Feels Vitali Could Be Another Far Climb For Haye

WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch gave his thoughts about David Haye's options in the aftermath of the one-sided decision loss to IBO/WBO/WBA/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko on Saturday night in Hamburg, Germany. Froch gives Haye a sure shot at beating any heavyweight in the UK, and the United States, but he doesn't sound too confident about his close friend's chances against WBC champion Vitali Klitschko.

vitali-haye will definitely upstage last saturday's bout. because unlike wlad, big brother gets in there and goes for it.

Vitali is stronger and has a better chin but he lacks the athleticism that Wladmir has.Vitali is awkward when he retreats and a fight with Haye could be anything.

Haye has better chance against Vitali, lower workrate, slower footspeed

could really make for a good fight. one thing's for sure, david will have to be more offensive minded. vitali is a killer.

Vitali knocks Haye out. But Vitali doesn't want to fight Haye now.

Vitali wants Valuev after Adamek. He's wanted the Valuev fight for some time now.

Hahahhahahahahaahahah? WHAAAAT? Vitali is known to throw up to 1000 punches a fight, he is one of the most active HW punchers there are.

You just exposed your suspect knowledge, "lower workrate"

              Vitali - 302/727 42% (TP).....171/320 53% (PP).......131/407 32% (JAB)
              Briggs - 73/316 23% (TP)......39/137 28% (PP).........34/179 19% (JAB)

              Vitali - 298/1013 29% (TP).....141/264 53% (PP)......157/749 21% (JAB)
              Johnson - 65/332 20% (TP)........5/54 9% (PP).........60/278 22% (JAB)

              Vitali - 301/802 38% (TP).....151/283 53% (PP).....150/519 29% (JAB)
              Arreola - 86/331 26% (TP).....24/107 22% (PP)......62/224 26% (JAB)

I think Vitali beating Haye would be a nice way to end his career. I would also love to see a rematch between Haye and Wladimir

2/3 years ago Vitali wouldve been too much imho... but lets see how he is v Adamek... it would be up to Vitali to generate the interest.

i agree. but of the two brothers if one were to punish and knockout haye as promised, it would be vitali. not wlad.
