Cant go wrong with a Glock, very reliable. You can shoot the **** out them and they wont fall apart. They hold up just as well as many other pistols that cost hundreds more than the Glock.

          meh.....

          glocks are good and reliable.

          but their rep is overblown.

i remember when glock .40's were blowing up when they first came out.

i was gonna buy a baby glock when they 1st came out but didn't after the g26 i was testing kept jamming and misfiring on me.

Y'all are always telling me to buy a Sig 227 or 229.

Do you think Ruger's are reasonable for a nice .38 or .45.

            I mean is it quality?

I have the money to buy high end stuff it's just that since I am a newbie I should probably work my way up to it.

S&w'S AND Glocks are expensive too.

Shoot out some recommendations for a nice pretty powerful first revolver or pistol if you don't mind.

Been debating for a while now.

I am qualified now so ready to rock in Illinois.

              too much.

rather get 2-3 hk's or sigs than one fixed up 1911.

hell buy buy 6 glocks or rugers.

i tell you sig because i like sigs.

my first love was a west german made sig p228.

ruger, glock, beretta, smith, etc. are all good too.

yeah smiths are expensive. my smith 4006 tactical model cost me about around $1400 iirc.

                glock is pretty cheap.

                  buy a ruger sp101, jerck.

                  in .38 or .357.

big enough for home defense, small enough if you want to carry it.

Listen to this man ... If you want a b1tchin piston look at a H&K

I have two P30L's in 9mm and .40S&W and they will eat just about any pill I put in them without a single FTF.

Sure, you're gonna pay a hefty price BUT!!!! It is damn well worth it.

p30 is a great gun. held one at my gun store a couple years back.

the grip is incredible. felt great.

luckily they didn't have the S models or else i would have handed over my credit card.
