  • Comments Thread For: Kessler is Expecting a Very Physical War With Froch

Mikkel Kessler has promised "pure action and adrenaline" when he renews his brutal rivalry with Carl Froch at London's O2 Arena on May 25.

The world super-middleweight champions - Kessler holds the WBA belt, Froch the IBF - will collide in one of the year's most eagerly-awaited fights after sharing 12 brutal rounds in April 2010.

Kessler, from Denmark, edged an unanimous points decision on home soil on that occasion and has agreed to travel to London for a rematch that he predicts will underline his superiority over Froch.

Froch and Kassler may appear to be united, but Kassler will be the one on the outside looking in after Froch ends him and moves on to a rematch with Ward. Kassler is getting roughed up and stopped. it took three years for Kassler get back in with a top level opponent after his first meeting with Froch, and i would be surprised if he ever fights at the top level again after the rematch.

Kessler has possibly the biggest fight of his career coming up and yet he still can't stop thinking about Ward.

Andre must have really gotten in his head with that butt kicking he gave him in Oakland.

It's a close fight, but I have Froch edging it in a bloody 12 round war. Don't write off Kessler though, he's tough and durable.
