  • Comments Thread For: Mosley on Mayweather-Cotto: First 4-5 Rounds Are Crucial

Former three division world champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley is probably one of the best experts to give an opinion on the May 5th mega-bout between Miguel Cotto and Floyd Mayweather Jr. Mosley fought, and lost, to both boxers. Mosley lost a twelve round unanimous decision to Cotto in November 2007 and nearly three years later, in May 2010, he lost a twelve round unanimous decision to Mayweather.

So, its very clear, Mayweather Jr shouldn't be Overconfident, cos Cotto is on the right weight and condition, no doubt about it. If Cotto lands those left hooks to the body in the early rounds then, Mayweather Jr will gonna have problem in the later rounds.

floyd is gonna whoop that asss....

no man wants to head into prison looking like a *****hhh..

floyd will make a statement just for this sake.

floyd wins 10 rounds, losing the first one as he feels out cotto.

by round 8 he begins dominating the physically war torn cotto.

round 11 stoppage due to punishment...

Well they are, going into the 8th round he is usually 6 rounds up. If you can get off to a good start he cannot dictate the pace in the final quarter that being said there's the possibility that he has a sixth gear.

the key thing that mosley said was (if he does'nt take cotto seriously). hey shane OLDSLEY.mayweather takes everybody seriously. you can see that in his training.42 opponents found that out.26 of the by KO. cotto won't be any different no matter how it end. decision or KO.

            oldsley"???

what are you doing making fun of a human being for aging?

wow. some people are so disrespectful and ignorant for no reason.

they asked shane a question, he answered...translation, floyd will have no

problem unless for some reason he is overlooking cotto...floyd is human,

many athletes have done it before....

no reason to make fun of a guy or put him down because he is older...

I'd love to see Cotto ahead at the halfway point. That way we'd see Floyd at his very best for the rest.
