Freddie Roach, trainer of WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, says his boxer will be ready and able to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2012. Roach appeared on ESPN Radio and said his boxer wants the fight with Mayweather, who needs to beat WBC champion Victor Ortiz on September 17 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Pacquiao has a scheduled fight with Juan Manuel Marquez on November 12 in Las Vegas. Both boxers need to win the scheduled bouts to keep their anticipated meeting in play.

This means nothing, He should get to the Point and answer what we all want to know Is Manny going to take the test without no cutoff or any stupid conditions thats what I want to know who cares about what roach says, talk is cheap. It seems so funny that everybody defends pacquiao and says Mayweather is scared to fight him yet they sugarcoat it so much and beat around the bush with all these dumbass claims like if its supposed to excite us boxing fans. Be clear and get to the Point , they talk about we agreed to everything but did you Agree to the Drug test? thats the main concern to everybody

I smell BS. Here's some food for thought Roach, can you explain this article from Team Pac's head honcho Bob Arum (below)... Seems like Mayweather is always a prority, but **** all is done about it. Team Pac talk a good game, but when it comes to walking the walk they fail.

Arum: Mayweather-Pacquiao a Priority For November

According to a report in The Philippine Star, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (52-3, 38KOs) is scheduled to return in the month of November. First, he must defeat "Sugar" Shane Mosley on May 7 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. If Pacquiao beats Mosley, then his promoter, Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, will attempt to make a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. (41-0, 25KOs).

The fight depends on the outcome of Mayweather's ongoing criminal court battles. Another name joining the fold is WBA/WBO lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez (52-5, 38KOs). The Mexican champion recently turned down a deal to fight Erik Morales in order to allow his promotional contract with Golden Boy Promotions to expire. Marquez wants to explore his options, with a third Pacquiao fight as the main target.

“Floyd is still our number one priority,” said Arum. “We want to find out if he’s available or what his legal status is. Right now I have no idea. If it’s Floyd, then certainly it’s Vegas. But if it’s Marquez, we might go somewhere else."

What did you agree to Roach? And have you guys sent a formal agreement to Team Mayweather? Or is Team Pacquiao just playing the media and getting ready to fight Mike Jones next?
