Furthermore, the Palm Beach Post says it was on Wednesday that it took place, why would they lie?

I doubt whether he's playing golf right now. I don't believe everything I read.
Interesting how Ben Jacobs the thread starter defended Andre Dirrell's claims of a serious injury, yet he appears to be on a mission to prove Wlad was making his injury up.
Yet Wlad was acting on a doctor's advice, we have the doctors name and a quote from him, while Dirrell couldn't even give his doctor's name.
Does the threadstarter have an agenda? Good boxing writers are fair and objective.
Quoting PalmBeachPost:
On Wednesday, the 6-foot-5, 240-pound Klitschko took his own intimidating presence to PGA National for a round of golf.

Some extracts from the article, bear in mind this is a local Florida newspaper with no agenda and would have no motive for lying.
The 34-year-old Ukrainian arrived on Monday and will spend the next few weeks in Florida, celebrating the holidays. Klitschko said it was minus-10 degrees Celsius - about 14 degrees Fahrenheit - when he left Frankfurt, Germany, for the United States.
But Wednesday was purely about golf, and Klitschko's no duffer.
On Wednesday, during a breezy, sunny, 70-degree day in Palm Beach County, the hulking boxer known as Dr. Steelhammer was just another golfer enjoying a relaxing day on the links.
