  • Why did Joe fight "bums" but Hopkins didn't - in their major divisions?

I don't wanna hear about what either have done since leaving MW/SMW, I'm talking about what they did.

One is a legendary HOF career... the other is "bum's, lamo, pwn!"

Now, I'm not suggesting that Joe's comp was stellar, but when, for example, an Olympic bronze medallist and former world champion (Reid) is dismissed as a "bum", I have to wonder why?

Another fact is that in SMW championship defences Joe fought more Americans than any other nation - and that's even if you count "Europe" as one country (it actually isn't, a shock, I know) and discount Manfredo Jr. for being ****. But it's always "euro's, lamo, pwn!" that Joe fought.

I expect the first reply to this will be "yo,,, ur sayen dat calslappy fort betta comp dan moohameid arli, lamo, pwn!" but I'm not.

    Just READ the ****ing thread.

Why doesn't Duke McKenzie give Barry McGuigan the credit he deserves?

          Tocker Pudwill was stellar competition.

My life would have been that little biy more incomplete if I did't see Joe Calzaghe tear up Jerry Springer guest Tocker Pudwill, or humiliate Will 'Kid Fire' McIntyre.

Some fighters are especially entertaining beating up bums, Joe Calzaghe is one of those fighters.

Joe beat everyone he had to, and a few comical circus boxing booth champions along the way.

There's always some funny ass **** replies this time of day, then the ****s come on later (oddly enough about the time America wakes up... coincidence?)

Anyway, these are DECENT - not great - opponents in his SMW defences IMO:

            Eubank
            Reid
            Omar Sheika
            Byron Mitchell
            Charles Brewer
            Jeff "LOL" Lacy
            Kessler Schnell

            These are okayish:
Woodhall (former world champ, don't forget, ******s)
            Sakio Bika

And this is a legendary opponent:
            Manfredo Jr.

            Tocker Pudwill = ****er Pigswill

I actually think Veit is an okayish opponent too, Calzaghe just made him look like ****..twice.

Even a guy like Mgertchian was a pretty decent european operator.

Bernard Hopkins fought a lot of bums too, and smaller fighters.

                Morrade Hakkar = Salem
                Simon Brown = Starie
                Steve Frank = McIntyre
                Andrew Council = Pudwill
Robert Allen (three times ) = Veit
