i was there and the tv broadcast doesn't tell the whole story. it looked empty on screen but there was tons of people there walking around and such. the thing was, the LA Galaxy were playing at the same time and the field is only 100 yards or so away from the ring. so basically people were doing both and just soaking up the vibe. plus traffic was really bad with two events going on at the same time. i'd say all in all, there was over 30,000 people or so in the home depot center at one time, with many more stuck in traffic and in the parking lots.
i saw evander holyfield there and he was shaking hands with peeps. also vic the brick jacobs was there and that cat is loony, but he loves his sports and he knows his boxing.Comment
