Following the conclusion of an administrative hearing, Orlando Piñero, manager of former WBO featherweight champion Juan Manuel López, was suspended over his alleged role in the April 16th post-fight riot, which followed the main event at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Bayamon. Pinero's boxer, Lopez, lost his undefeated reacord and his belt to Mexico's Orlando Salido, who won the fight technical knockout at 1:39 of the eighth round, which caused an outcry in the ring that generated in a riot.
