  • Boxing and weight lifting to lose weight

I started to workout seriously one month ago.

I lifted weights hard 3-4 times a week with a caloric deficit.

I already lost about 5-6 pounds, but I started boxing yesterday and I really enjoyed it more than weight lifting and gives a waaay harder workout. my whole body hurts right now.

but im scared if i stop weight lifting I will lose definition in my arms and shoulders. should I still put a weight lifting day if I box 3 times a week?

or should the workout from boxing enough to retain/not lose muscle.?

any feedback would be helpful thank you guys

If you're lifting on a calorie deficit you're going to lose muscle. And boxing will improve the definition in your upper body, but you may lose mass. Not a big deal, you won't turn into a beanpole or anything.
