On April 20th at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi, former middleweight champion Jermain "Bad Intentions" Taylor (29-4-1, 18 KO's) will take part in the second fight of his comeback, when he faces undefeated Caleb "Golden" Truax (18-0-1, 10 KO's) in a 10-round middleweight match. Showtime will televise. Not everyone is happy with Taylor's upcoming opponent, but his promoter, Lou DiBella, considers Truax to be the perfect opponent at this moment in time.

can't see Taylor becoming world champ again
maybe he'll get a belt, but he won't be elite
wanna see him get at least something out of his comeback though
he's earned the soft touches, his boxing age is older than 33
southpaws and punchers should be off limits for him
      to hell with fighting Alcine

well he has looked his best under the tutelage of pat burns...so if there's any chance of him reviving his career it will be with him

that being said... even though a broken fighter, taylor is a talented one so it should be interesting to see how much he has left

          his stamina was always bad
          his defense was always bad
now his chin's been cracked, so has his confidence at the top level
don't see any trainer making him palpably better at this point

Caleb Truax fights out of my local gym! Good for him to be getting a shot at the big time. He is the best talent in there so I hope he represents us well. Good luck Golden!
