Nobody wanted to see that **** at 140, 145, under 150 or at 154.

Floyd had no problem fighting Cotto at 154, only Manny feels the need to drain Miguel down to a less than comfortable weight. It is what it is.

floyd is also bigger than manny. You know how floyd and his groupies call pac a "midget" and yet they expect this midget to be a junior middleweight.

          talk about an agenda.

the fight was at 153. poor career weltewrweight margarito.

in negotiations, sometimes, concessions are made. when they aren't, talks fall apart. its the way of the business.
He didn't lie, Cotto requested it at 150, and had to settle for 153. What that tells you is, Cotto probably has zero issues making 150. Further evidence: Cotto requested a 160 rehydration limit, that means he can probably make 147 np.

The other reason it's appropriate to mention, Cotto's request is way more chicken***** than any Pac cw. For one he wasn't moving up, he's the freaking champ at the weight. Gimme just one example of a champ asking for one. Much less against a non contender like Marg. So what did it prove for Cotto, that he's better than Marg with regulation handwraps, if he's coming off a massacre with one good eye, and with a weight stipulation.

Does someone need to bring up Floyd cheating Marquez on the scales? Only bad when fighters you dislike do it, right?

              Move along now child.

Bradley said he'd fight Cotto at 154 too. It's obvious that there's only one fighter who is the catchweight king in this sport...

Saying is different than doing. Mayweather said he'll fight again this year, what will you do when he doesn't?

Again, you've been sonned in your own thread.

That's hardly the same as all the Mannyweights we've been forced to sit through.
Once you agree to CWs then you can't go back saying CWs are bad when the other guy does it.

I'm cool with Cotto refusing to go down to 150 .... actually, I didn't even want this fight to happen. For Manny, it was about making the biggest dollar before taking on, hopefully, Floyd in April ..... I hate the money aspect of boxing as I just want to see good fights ....

Manny did his CWs when he entered WW division and never did another one that was in his favor after that as he realized that he can hang at 147 even though he is a small WW. Manny's team is not so confident about 154 therefore the CW .... they asked for a CW but Cotto said no .... cool .... no problem there.
