That's so true. While he is entitled to his opinion, other people are entitled to be offended by it and/or entitled to stop doing business with him. Freedom of speech doesn't only work one way.

Pacquiao hasn't faced legal censure for what he's said. He isn't being sued or prosecuted or jailed. He does face the consequence that people will stop doing business with him because it would harm their bottom line.

Manny Pacquiao expresses his opinions on ****sexuality and people are talking about taking away his endorsements and banning him from shopping malls. What about the bill of rights, what about freedom of speech? Maybe you dont agree with Pac's opinions but isnt he, by right, entitled to those opinions? Shouldnt we be more worried about defending his and everybodies right to free speech as opposed to banning him and shunning him for having the audacity to speak his mind? Seriously AMerica is phiuked if we keep listening to these super liberals and stop defending the bill of rights.

This is something that is shocking to me as to how many Americans don't understand what freedom of speech really means. Let me clarify it for you guys.

Freedom of speech doesn't mean you can say ANYTHING. For example, threats and things of that nature are not protected by freedom of speech. Now Manny can say whatever he wants about gays and he has that right but the company that pays him money can cut his endorsement deal if they want and that has nothing to do with freedom of speech.

If you are an employee of a company or represent a product the way Manny does Nike and you say some dumb **** like this, they have every right to drop you because they are a PRIVATE company and can spend their money how ever they want.
