From what Marshall Kauffman has told me, it was excellent work with both guys fighting on even terms. They sparred 13 rounds on the last day Godfrey was down there. Kauffman was very confident because he was able to make the smaller, quicker and better-than-Grano Godfrey miss punches.
good, both guys needed the work. I hate to say it but there is a dearth of talent for the bigger guys in the Northeast

Ill KO by Avalos, that right hand was similar to the one Lewis ko'd Rahman with.

Brutal KO. That was a good-ass battle between Avalos and Caro. It was like, "**** defense."

That was an amazing knockout. Avalos is a real deal prospect. He showed a lot of toughness in a fight that looked like it might have been too big a step-up at 19 years old.

Agree about Avalos. He stood his ground against a very tough older man. Very impressive for his age and experience.

Definitely want to see Avalos fight again.
