Just checked his boxrec, yeah he did, made a few more defences. 1 notably against Lupe Pintor which I've not seen so I'll check that out.

Also gonna check out the Zarate bout.

Get on the Zarate fight mate, he smashes him up its vintage Gomez.
Zarate was undefeated coming in and i think he had stopped everyone he had faced, possibly 1 or 2 made it the distance but regardless he was a KO Artist of the highest caliber

Gomez was a great fighter but also a dirty fighter. It didnt help Zarate that Gomez hit him after the bell ending the 4th round i believe. I dont watch that fight to often since i'm a Zarate fan. That was a great performance by Gomez.

I highly recommend watching the Pintor bout. It is a great fight.

I think that was Sanchez most impressive win. Total domination and he really beat up Gomez who was a great fighter. Gomez face was a mess after that fight.
