It is, it's basically about three kids in the ghetto, they end up growing apart.
One because a detective, one because a junkie, and the other becomes a prison war lord. Lots of action and drama.

you cant go wrong with american history x and blood in blood out, they're 1a 1b.

blood n blood out has too many classic lines too, "chicano u-turrrrnnn!"


boyz in the hood is a joke. It should be placed with movies like suburban commando. Cuba gooding is spaz. Menace 2 society fits better with the top 2.

Film never really did anything for me, though
It just ran on the racism, then rushed to clear up the mess at the end.

love both these movie but since vlood in blood out is close to my raza i favor that movie better but still american history x is a amazing movie and edward norton does a good job playing the racist bastard at the beginning plus both these movies hit the mark on topics regarding some cultural prison backgrounds!!
