Blueprint to beat Floyd

You need a good jab and good body punching.


The jab screws up Floyd all day as evidence of Judah, Mosley, and ODLH all in the early rounds when they used the jab but then stopped later.

The jab will open up Floyd but you need to go to his body. His body is his achilles heel. He doesn't like to get hit in the body for ****. Proof that his body is his achilles heel is that one amateur he sparred with to get ready for Marquez. The dude cracked his ribs.


Jab + Body punching = Success against Floyd.


But that doesn't mean thats all that is needed. The opponent needs some strength, smarts, able to stay calm, has a good chin, decent hand speed and footwork. That alone eliminates 98% of possible Floyd opponents.

Get him the early rounds before he adjusts. cuz if he did, pacs in trouble but will still cruise away with a UD.

Rock his equilibrium with a clean shot like shane did, step back with a counter right hook (because he will try to clinch)Keep distance and let him wobble for a quick second, then ATTACK with 8 -12 combination non-stop pedal to the metal. If he doesn’t go down, itll be a TKO.

Thank God you're just a fan. That's a horrible fight plan for Floyd.

JLC had the best game plan against Floyd. You need to attack Floyd's body instead of just trying to hit his head.

You need to be bigger than Floyd, just a fast, quick hands, have good movement with your head and legs, be strong, etc.

Not sure if the blue print exists at the moment.

What I mean by that is I think a guy with a tall, lean body, that can box intelligent from the outside and use range could beat floyd. Like the body of Paul Williams except with boxing skills. Think Tommy Hearns.

Pacquiao is the best chance though but I think he would have to knock him out or hurt him badly.

That guys would do it but I would contend such a man would give anybody in boxing history huge problems.

yea i agree with having to take out floyd early. once round 5 or 6 comes around, floyd's figured you out and it's pretty much game over. the best chance to beating floyd is getting a lucky punch in while he still sees you as a question mark.

Manny is not going to win a fight with activity. No way he's throwing 100 punches in a round. Floyd will tax his ass every time. He's probably going to throw around 40 punches per pound.
