Chavez Jr's approach sure worked for him. He's a world champion and making big money. Like it or not, he did what was right for his career.

Wilder still needs to fight about 10 more times against bums before he has fought the 35+ times that Chavez did before stepping up.

I think he should, he is raw, and he shouldn't worry about the opinion of know-nothing fans like yourself who only want to see him lose so they can criticize him.

Amateur background? Wilder had almost no amateur background and still won a medal on raw talent. I think he is being brought along perfectly, he has a lot to work on.

You're just a hater, all the people who say Wilder needs to step up to make them happy just want him to lose, they don't give a damn about whether he is being developed properly.

Hes just been fighting professionally just little over 3 years. How long has the klits been fighting until they started to face quality opponents? Wladamir didn't step up until his 33rd fight. and Vitali stepped up his quality of competition on his 25th fight so give this kid a break.

Eddie Gomez did not look that great, but then again the guy he fought covered up the whole until the last minute of the last round. That Sharif dude is decent, he was fast, accurate, and he put together some good combos including some ripping left hooks to the body, expect to see him start making some noise at 135lbs.
