The two-time world champion Juan Manuel Lopez will start training next week, noting that his comeback would be in December or January 2014 in the junior lightweight division. In his last fight, Lopez (33-3, 30 KO's) was knocked out in four rounds by Mikey Garcia (32-0, 27 KO's) in brawl for the WBO featherweight title. Garcia failed to make weight for that match and the belt became vacant afterwards.

Love juanma but he looked like an amateur vs mikey, just absolutely horrible. At this point he would only be able to beat tomato cans.

Besides Ponce de Leon all Juanma ever beat were cans. They were either cans or old and inactive like Marquez, Penelosa, and Luevano

Luevano was a decent titlist near prime. I never liked Juanma, but you can tell he's regressed a lot. He was never that good or smart, Penalosa showed it first, but he looked pathetic vs Garcia. He wasn't always that bad.

It was hard seeing one of my Fav fighters get schooled by Garcia.. Juanma your career is over pretty much and I dont see him being on the elite level anymore..

What you all need to realize is that Juanma is as dumb as a box of rocks and has no other way of making a living.
