  • Comments Thread For: Guillermo Rigondeaux Expects To Dominate Willie Casey

WBA interim-super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (7-0, 5KOs) has said that he expects to dominate Willie Casey (11-0, 7KOs) when they meet on March 19 at the City West Hotel in Dublin, Ireland. Don't you think "horrible" is a little harsh? Rigondeaux has fought and won hundreds of amateur fights. He's still new to the pro game. He might not ever shake that amateur mentality. When you've done it a certain way for so long, it becomes ingrained. "El Chacal's" last bout was disappointing for this reason. He fought a guy he couldn't just tear through easily and rode his bike to a points victory. Uninspired performance, I'll admit...but "horrible"? Give this guy a little time.

Maybe then we'll see a larger extent of what he can do. If an opponent doesn't attack, seldom does he.
