Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer advised BoxingScene.com that his planned doubleheader for May 18th is slowly coming together. As part of the card, Lamont Peterson (31-1-1, 16KOs) would defend his IBF crown against the very dangerous Lucas Matthysse (33-2, 31KOs) of Argentina.

And the other half of the puzzle would see the rescheduled welterweight collision between IBF champion Devon Alexander (24-1, 13KOs) and undefeated mandatory challenger Kell Brook (29-0, 19KOs). The Alexander-Brook has already been postponed twice due to injuries. This is a very very good card, I really cannot hate on a Peterson-Matthyse fight and with Alexander-Brook going on it then am really excited to be honest, Another great thing is the fact that Garcia-Judah isnt far away from this card which would make the winner fight winner more visible....Kudos to GBP if they pull this off

That second knock down was a freaking joke. The ref even felt Peterson trip because he was the reason... and still counted it.
Dude made the fight horrible.
And yea Peterson gets Knocked Down... but that dude always gets back up and finishes
