  • Boxing will miss the great Wonjongkam

A man who never did anything significant in boxing other than sort of float around pound for pound lists for years without ever fighting anyone or attempting to become a big name. God speed, great warrior. Hopefully there will be 50 more Asians to take his place this year and finish their careers similarly - without ever doing anything even remotely significant. Congrats.

You mean hold a belt hostage in Thailand where he forced his already midget weight drained opponents fight in the brutal heat in 50c/120f conditions that he's used to all his life? Or the fact that he never bothered to eat meat or lift weights instead choosing to throw up all his meals so he can fight in a dead weightclass that nobody cares about because these so called "men" fight in a weight class meant for 8 year old kids?

    Yea, You the greatest

HE had a good following in his respective demographic. And doesn't always make sense to come to the state just to be an opponent to someone when all the cards are stacked against you.

        just saying.

Imagine if every champion stays says **** comming to the US to fight and just stick to their country etc to fight. ALL U.S. will have is two slick boxers looking at each other for 12 rounds jingling jabs in front of an empty arena.

Excellent comparison, clueless. Mayweather has fought top competition for 14 years. Not even close to comparable.

                LOL.
                like who exactly?

The past prime cotto or the distracted coralles.

or the chronic quitter victor ORTIZ?

                or the fat JMM.

Nice work, Diego....I always laughed at and looked down on people who tried to be "underground cool" by placing him in their Top 10 P4P...

He was lucky there weren't any good American boxers his size who would have hunted him down and exposed him sooner...
