Boxing Pundits across the world at a time when boxing was still relevant(compared to now) were hailing Wladimir Klitschko as the next big thing. The heir apparent tag was slapped on Wladimir during late 2000 as he seemed unstoppable and his progression and awe inspiring abilities continued to rise.
Lewis and Steward were asked about Wladimir after the Botha fight, most questions relating to weather or not Wladimir has offered a fight of any kind.
No offers from Wladimir were ever made.
11-11 2000
Live on HBO. after Tua fight Larry Merchant specifically asked Lennox Lewis what he thought of Wladimir, Lennox replied that Wladimir have never even approach him for a fight offer of any type, but if Wlad wants he can bring it.
Wladimir continues to delay delay delay with not a word spoken out against the champion.
