    because Vitali couldn't fight again.
he was past prime so he did well................

If 2 armed men fight and one split the face open of the other with an axe and drop him dead, do you think he got lucky ?

A boxer's weapons are his hands, Lewis split Vitali's face with his fists, I don't see where the luck is.

He was getting hit flush with some sloppy overhand rights though. The same kind of punches that he effortlessly avoids from smaller men.

Lennox was great, but he was losing vs. Vitali and retired rather than give him a rematch.

              Vitali owns him.

Those 'sloppy' overhand rights consistently connects on every opponent Vitali faces.

For all the hugboys and Vitaly haters NEWSFLASH: LENNOX GOT LUCKY THAT HE CUT VITALY WITH THE SIDE OF HIS GLOVE WHEN VITALY WAS SLIPPING THAT PUNCH.

What are the chances of this happening and yet Lennox lucked out like in no other fight.

Imagine if Rahmna and the Atomic Bull never gave Lennox rematches

Yeah and guess what he did after that: Remained INACTIVE for 377 days before the wbc finally forced him to defend. 377 days!!! The writing was on the wall before he even faced Vitali.

And 38 years old is not that young. Marciano, Tunney and Dempsey were all 32 when they hung it up. 2 of those 3 retired as champions like Lennox.
