Nice going Yank fan savages, guess you never considered throwing beer and spitting on his family (the fabled "Yankee class") may not be the best advertisement for your franchise Especially when the guy is from Arkansas.

Not to say that I'm happy about this, I want him out of the AL West - I don't care what team he goes to as long as he's gone. The moment this World Series is over I'll be back to "**** the Rangers" mode.

Money talks and the Tigers have a ton of it. Not to sound like a prick but big name free agents don't go to Texas. Texas is having a great season this year but this is kind of a once in a lifetime kind of thing for them. They are a small market team when you talk about what they are willing to spend on their baseball team. I think the Royals spent more.
