so come on it's not like everybody is running scared of him.
I love how all of them are top 10 in the MW division.
When people talk about opponents not wanting to fight him, it's the top opponents in his division.
He offered Quillin a shot before Quillen had a title and he turned it down

In all honesty not everyone is running from him but all of the major beltholders are. Those guys are seasoned vets looking for paydays or HBO exposure.

would hbo have taken that fight? his fanbase is non existent

also another fighter at 154 which is why he was getting criticized at the first place

...and signed to fight quillin one week later. don't act like he ducked guerrero...he was in the running but hbo prefered rosado over him

        that's what I said...he should fight rubio

however rubio could've never taken that fight on 1/19 as he fought in december

It's good that he's staying active.

It doesn't matter who he fights to stay busy in March, as long as he fights Geale or some other top middleweight in June on HBO.

Why do people still bring pirog up? is he still relevant ?- its like whenever someone brings up middle weights with want to see matchups this dudes name still pops up from his only note worthy win against a hyped up overrated prospect? really - reminds me of Coming To America with the barbershop rocky marciano mentions, once dude can survive a training camp and accept a fight outside Russia keep his name out ya mouth's -

some guys have ducked him like Sturm and I can't defend Quillin

Geale took a big money fight in australia to avenge his only loss, how is that ducking Golovkin?

Martinez took a fight at home against Murray, granted Murray isn't GGG but he's fighting in Agrentina and the Argentines hate the Brits and he will probably face Chavez jr against in the fall. what Martinez should pass up a PPV fight?

Chavez and Macklin are rumored to be fighting each other. you can't give Macklin grief for taking a big money fight against Chavez

that's pretty much the top ten

Pirog was injuried and is rumored to be facing Golovkin in March.

all I'm saying is I'm not buying the HBO and K2 hype. HBO is helping build him up so a Martinez or Chavez showdown makes sense. it's just the story they are trying to sell. I'm all for it but I'm just not buying into the hype. I'd like to see GGG in a big fight but I'm not going to act like he's Marvin Hagler

I agree with most of what you said but about Guerrero I don't know. I think K2 perfered Rosado because they thought GGG would blast him like Angulo. Guerrero is managed by Al Haymon and you know if Haymon wants a fight he gets a fight on HBO. the Rosado fight wasn't supposed to last more than 4 and when it didn't HBO went into damage control and try to spin the BS bed ridden story

Lots of guys tied up for March... but wouldn't be surprised to see Zbik. Would be crazy if they put David Lemieux in there with him

One of the 5 fights needs to be against another titlist. He'll probably run through the WBA rankings. Let's look at them, shall we??

-Murray (#1) is fighting Martinez on April.
-Sturm (#2) is fighting Soliman on February 1st, already ducked GGG before.
-Sainte (#3) is fighting Bursak on February 2nd.
-Nielsen (#4) is fighting Mendy in February 9th.
-Zbik (#5) is inactive since he caught that L against Sturm last April.
                    -Sanchez(#6) doesn't have a fight scheduled.
                    -Bryant (#7) doesn't have a fight scheduled
-Proksa (#8) already caught a beating and Lee (#9) is returning from his loss to Chavez on February 9th.

He has three WBA opponents available, but Sanchez is only 21 with 24 fights. Bryant is 33 with only 20 fights. Clearly, the opposition leaves something to be desired. GGG will probably pound on Zbik next.

there is just no way sorry bro...rosado's defense and skill set improved tremendously since he fought angulo while guerrero is looking mediocre with every fight he takes

yes rosado was sparked out by angulo but I remember guerrero being sparked out by the lesser regarded grady brewer...it wasn't a weight thing until he did either
