  • Comments Thread For: Carlos Quintana Praises Danny Garcia For The Khan Win

Former champion Carlos Quintana was very impressed with Danny Garcia's four round stoppage of British superstar Amir Khan. Garcia (24-0, 15KOs), now the WBC/WBA champion at 140, was more or less dominated in the first two rounds, but he changed the entire fight with a single left hook in the third round. He dropped Khan three times before the fight was stopped. Quintana sees Garcia as the new star on the Puerto Rican scene.

Verry Humble of Carlos Quintana,Giving Props to Danny Garcia. It be cool if Carlos were to spar with Danny and give him a few pointers here & there.

Basicaly the ends an outs, Quintana's been in the ring with elite competition/vets so he has an idea of what he's doing (Williams,Cotto etc)

Anyways A fighter of Quintanas caliber would help Garcia get different perspectives in the ring.Dude can box

żNew star on the Puerto Rican scene? NOT! Garcia was born, raised & still lives in Philadelphia so for that matter he's from the u.s.(a gringo) that happens to be descendant of Puerto Ricans..He's never done S H I T for Puerto Rico..Everything he's ever done & accomplished was in the u.s. mainly in his home town of Philadelphia so he's a new Star from the long line of the Philly Boxing scene..
