IBF Bantamweight champion Abner Mares faces Joseph Agbeko at the Honda Center in Anaheim on December 3 in a rematch to their controversial August showdown. Their first bout - the finale to Showtime’s Bantamweight tourney – saw Mares land numerous low blows but was never deducted a point in taking a majority decision.

The fact that Abner has a plan B is a great sign for him, and a great sign for his team.

It would be a mistake to abandon going to the body, but having the willingness and the ability to abandon that strategy if problems occur, is a great sign.

Abner needs to completely forget about his previous problems and concentrate on his game, unless they reoccur in the ring on fight-night, and then make the adjustment.

Just keep them above the waist Abner

As long as there are no low punches that could be even remotely close to a low blow you should be fine.

Hope it is as entertaining as the first fight was. Without the low blows of course.

Pretty hard fight to bet on in my opinion, I think either man can win.
