Middleweight contender Brian Vera (23-6, 14KOs) has some doubts about Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (46-1-1, 32KOs) being capable of making the super middleweight limit of 168-pounds. The two fighters are scheduled to face each other on September 28th at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.
Chavez's struggles to make the middleweight limit are well documented but he always manages to make the weight. The Mexican star has been inactive since last September's decision loss to Sergio Martinez, and numerous photos have surfaced over the last few weeks that showed Chavez weighing far beyond 168-pounds.
