I passed my first time on both my licenses. My regular license I used an automatic because it doesn't matter what you use you can drive any car manual or automatic as long as you have a license. For my commercial license I did use a manual so I would'nt have any restrictions on my license...

For a regular Class C yes. Not on a commercial vehicle though. You have to pass in a manual or they will restrict your license...

Yes. You have the choice to drive an auto or manual car for your test. It doesn't matter what car you drive because you're taking the same test. You better not stall a manual car during the test because that's usually an automatic fail. You can drive an auto or manual after you pass your test.

You have to drive a manual vehicle for a bus, large vehicles, etc.
