Neil Young and Crazy Horse - Hey Hey My My (Into the Black)

          electric version

          unplugged

hey hey... my my...rock n roll can never die!

it's better to burn out.. than fade away (Kurt Cobain obviously subsribed to this)

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet Home Alabama

the Confederate band's response to Neil Young's scathing "Southern Man"

                She's Gone

Someone posted this on facebook. Two guys on the voice singing this old Hall and Oates song. Pretty tight if you ask me. Had to post it in this thread.

I absolutely adore this track. Not many people these days are open-minded enough to give anything that's longer than 3-4 minutes a proper listen, but this is such a phenomenal piece of work - 70's prog rock at it's absolute pinnacle.

If nothing else, just listen from 8.29 - 14.13.If you have any sort of appreciation for melody and harmony, you'll really dig this because it's absolutely dripping in it.And then that organ kicks in at 12.12 and really gives it such a triumphant feel....never fails to make the hairs on the back of my neck stand.

Listening to jackson browne's running on empty album. Didn't know that the guy is still alive and kicking with his cocaine song. Just found this vid.
