UFC 97 To Remain in Montreal Following Rules Compromise...and a new fight was announced!!

    Chris Insinna

UFC 97 will take place on April 18th at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada as scheduled after the UFC reached an agreement with the Quebec Athletic Commission to ban foot stomps at the event.

Corus Sports first reported the news earlier today.

UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta and vice president for regulatory affairs Marc Ratner traveled to Montreal earlier this week to meet with the athletic commission in hopes of saving the event, which is already sold out. Having to only concede to ban foot stomps is a major victory for the UFC as the commission was seeking to prohibit elbow and knee strikes and allow for temporary stoppages to ensure downed fighters were able to continue.

Am I crazy of were they not legal anyways?

Former UFC middleweight title-holder Rich Franlin will face former PRIDE 205-pound champion Wanderlei Silva at UFC 99, according to multiple reports. The event is scheduled for June 13 at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany, marking the promotions debut in the country.

    Wen Jiabao

Wen Jiabao RECENT wow power leveling images of prominent leaders using their left hand seem to have re-opened the debate over whether lefties, or southpaws, are higher achievers than wow power leveling right-handed people. Over Spring Festival, many Chinese were surprised to see Wen Jiabao holding a spatula in his left hand while making cheap archlord gold twice-cooked pork in Wenchuan county, Sichuan province. Around the same time, Americans watched as President Barack Obama, with his left hand, archlord online gold signed his first executive orders into law. According to Chris McManus, professor of psychology and medical education at University College London, southpaws do appear to be, on average, better at music and mathematics. But their left-handedness doesn't appear to give them any edge in politics. "When you look at American presidents as a whole, or British prime ministers or French presidents or German chancellors, there is no excess archlord power leveling of left-handers," he told The London Times. About one out of 10 people in the world are left-handed.
