    According to Chris Meyer, general manager for Sauerland Event, promoter Don King slammed down a bid of $1,500,000 million dollars to secure the promotional rights to the Marco Huck (35-2-1, 25KOs) vs. Ola Afolabi (19-2-4, 9KOs) trilogy match. Sauerland Event, who promote WBO cruiserweight king Huck, put down $914,444, K2 Prootions who handle Afolabi, put in a bid of $375,000.

    Great news, first two fights were great.

      Last time Don King put down a large bid like this (on the Stiverne-Arreola fight last year) he defaulted and the fight was delayed.

            its fishy that dont king is involved in this! Maybe the klitschkos knew that they couldnt win the purse bid against sauerland and brought in don king to help them and make the fight on their terms now!

              Not possible, Don King hates the Klitschkos.

              Maybe King did it out of spite.

              But he'll default again, and it will go back to purse bid.

                It's hilarious, King is trolling. Is there no penalty for defaulting on a winning bid?
