Why do you think rain makes some people sleepy and relaxed?

My wife does, I even downloaded rain sounds and play it for her so she can sleep. I need complete silence when I sleep.

I love to open the window and listen to the rain hit the ground,the sound just makes my body relax and makes me feel like i have no worries at all

Miami rain is stupid. It will rain like hell for a few minutes then sunnny like it never happen....rain on one side of the street not the other type rain.

But a long steady rain on a cold dreary day....yeah, id nod off!

for some reason every time it trained all day in PR abuela made some sopa de pollo, three decades later it's still my favorite dish on a rainy/snowy day...soups taste better on ugly days.

I love background noise while I'm sleeping. Raining is the best, and in the summer running the AC while I sleep

I find it very relaxing in general when it rains.

I love rain and want to be outside. I don't think it relaxes me though.
