This shouldnt be to hard to believe, Canelo hit Shane with everything he had, PBF just hit Shane with his usual 1, 1-2 punch combos, and that was enough to keep Shane at bay, PBF has real power when he sits on his punches. Not to say that Canelo dont have power, but beleive it or not, PBF might have more power he just chooses not to use it, but you see how many times he stops fighters in there tracks when he lands those crisp shots..

        Exactly,his power is definitely underrated
He doesn't sit down on his punches that much but when he does he has power
Canelo throws with more intent and appears more powerful but as been stated earlier Mayweather's speed and accuracy adds to his punches

Floyd stronger than canelo, ever since returning from retirement he has seemed to grow into the weight class alot better, when against hatton he looked like a weakling, in comparison to hatton and most welterweights for that matter

              Why not?

And as for Shane's comments, that's not saying much about Canelo's power then huh?

Shane didn't say Pacquiao hit him harder than any other fighter ever. He said he hit him with a type of power that he'd never felt before.

He clarified by saying that it wasn't the type of punching power where you can anticipate it and have to brace your entire body against a powerful blow, like against a heavyweight (for example), where you know you're going to feel the entire punch move your body. He said Pacquiao's shots weren't overtly powerful, but there was something to them that made him wobble and become dazed just by getting clipped by them. He likened it to (paraphrasing here) some type of Bruce Lee, one-inch-punch stuff.

What he meant was Manny's punches had an unusual amount of snap to them, where the momentum of the shot outweighs the actual force behind it. Like Kostya Tszu's explanation of a ball inside something or other. Transferral of force. The whole of the punch is greater than the sum of its parts, if you will. Like breaking an egg yolk without damaging the shell. Make sense?

Also, its quite likely and also quite possible that Floyd hits as hard as Canelo. Physical strength does not equal punching power - or did we all forget that?

Im think Pac's power has to do more with the way he throws his punches, its unconventional, from weired angles, so you cant really see them coming.

Mosley looked more hurt against Canelo to me. I doubt Floyd could even put down a 40 year old Baldomir, let alone one punch KO him. Boxers have their own weird mind games and agendas going on.

As to the Pac/Forrest one: It's very clear that Forrest hit him much, much harder than anyone else has, Pac, Canelo, Floyd, Oscar included.

First, he was undefeated and in his peak, prime years. He was hungrier, more determined than ever and that makes you feel the punches less and recover faster. When Forrest hit him and put him down, 98% of fighters would have been out cold. As it was, Mosley stumbled about after just making it up, and took numerous rounds to recover and fell down a few more times just trying to recover.

That's not even going into the shot in round 10 that literally made him scream out so loud you could hear it across to the HBO cameras.

Pac briefly put a 40 year old, completely shot Mosley down for a short count before Mosley went straight back to fighting as he did right before the KD.

If anything, it's probably more to do with the fact that he remembers the Pac KD because 1, it was a quick, nearly flash KD and 2, it was most recent, while forgetting the Forrest one because his brain was so completely scrambled that he doesn't even remember much of the fight no doubt, and it was a decade before.

It had more to do with him getting hit on the side of the head behind the ear as he ducked. It spazzed his brain out briefly. Probably more about him being shot to **** too.
