Martinez came from 154 and in his last 5 fights all his opponents were taller than him and apart from Dzinziruk also a lot heavier.
Fought Pavlik being estimated 20 pounds lighter and people still want him to compete at light heavy weight.
He only wants to fight against Pacquiao p4p1 and Mayweather p4p2 which are both gaining weight all the time.

If Martinez hadn't fight Dzinzuruk people would say he was never the real 154 champ, if he fights him, he's picking on smaller guys although he is taller...
    Dumbass thread.

This thread just shows how massive an advantage it is to be short in P4P.

I think the concept of weight still confuses most of BS.

as a fighter, Sergio is ok in my book.

what i find annoying is people INSISTING that Pac fight Martinez when:

        1. Martinez himself said Pac was too small for him.
        2. Pac himself said he had problems with Margarito even when he fought him at 150, and thus didn't bother defending the belt he won at that fight.

In boxing, SIZE DOES MATTER. let me put it to you this way - if two equally skilled fighters face each other, but with one having

        1. a 17 to 21 lbs weight advantage,
        2. a 3 1/2 inch height advantage,
        3. an 8 inch REACH ADVANTAGE

who do you think would win?

scratch that. who would be STUPID ENOUGH to go into that kind of fight?
