Depends on the genre..... 60's and 70's had great Rock, Soul and Motown of course. while the 80's had terrible rock but good hip hop, r&b and pop.

Early 90's had decent rock and great hip hop.

the 60s had the doors, the beatles, the rolling stones. Those 3 **** over any 3 bands from any other decade. Although the rolling stones are still around so u could include them in any decade, but they were formed in the 60s

90's and 00's for me. more specifically mid 90's to mid 00's.

60s (although out of this list Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd are the only ones i would listen to on any kind of regular basis)also had Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylon, Elvis, the beach boys, the who, marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles. Thats all i can think of of hand, but im sure there's loads of others

Edit - how could i forget about Led Zeplin??? (60s and 70s though)
