    Comment: I noticed that, at the time (2003), Jim Lampley seemed to not be aware that a boxer can still lose a round even though he/she scored a knockdown.

    Question: Barerra had "Tapia" on the back of his trunks. Why's that? (After the stoppage, he was indeed hugged/consoled by Johnny Tapia)

    Tapia is his mother's maiden name, Marco Antonio Barrera Tapia is his full name, no relation to Johny they were just very good friends.

        His mother's maiden's name, unless their is something about MAB I don't know.
