Carl Froch is against returning to America to avenge his defeat to Andre Ward, should the pair agree to a rematch.
Froch wants to fight Ward again in a bid to set the record straight following his unanimous points loss to the American in Atlantic City back in 2011.
The Nottingham-born IBF and WBA champion only has two defeats to his name and he avenged one of those losses on Saturday night following a points decision over Mikkel Kessler in front of a sell-out crowd in London's 02 Arena.
The duo have already spoken about a possible reunion with the 29-year-old American, who is ranked number two pound-for-pound fighter in the world behind Floyd Mayweather Jr, immediately stating Froch would need to return to the States if he is serious about cementing his legacy.
However, Froch has rejected the notion, saying that Ward should agree to fight in the United Kingdom if he wants the pair to go toe-to-toe once more.
