  • Klitschko's manager says Wach and Pulev are possible fall opponents for Wladimir

In an interview on allboxing, Bernd Bonte said today that Wladimir's next fight will be in Europe in November or early December.

He said Fury and Price will not be ready until 2013 (Povetkin, Arreola and Mitchell have all said they will not be ready until next year).

He mentioned Kubrat Pulev as a possible opponent, or a fight in Poland against Mariusz Wach.

The RTL telecast of Klitschko-Thompson had good ratings as always, but lower than in the past. Some people didn't like the idea of Wlad fighting someone he'd already KOed, but sadly, the IBF made Thompson mandatory so Wlad had no choice but to fight him.

There are reports on German websites that Wladimir's goal is to gain the WBC title after Vitali retires.

They say Vitali plans to fight Charr in September, and then drop the WBC title.

Arreola and someone else will fight for the vacant title. The winner will fight Wladimir.

Vitali will run for mayor of Kiev in October. If he wins, he retires. If he loses, he'll try to set up his farewell final fight with David Haye, providing Haye beats Chisora.

I can't imagine his opponent being anyone who will be competitive as this seems to be nothing more than the WBC gift wrapping the title for another one of their own...

Wlad should fight an opponent who is taller than him the next time. He has rarely done so before.

Pulev could be a real threat, though I think he needs more season.

Wach sucks so bad it's hard to describe. If he lasted two rounds, it would be the same as winning. Thompson III would be preferable to that wank.

Wlad's business side has to be quietly hoping for Chisora to win. That's a grand stage grudge match. Everyone else is either ducking or genuinely unready for title shots, a hilarious compliment to the dominance of the Brothers K.
