This is why victor ortiz is one of my favorite fighters

Notice how he says things like "Name the time" when they ask him about other fighters. Vic says hes ready and willing to fight anyone, even the p4p king manny pacquiao. Its amazing that while making these statements, he still comes off as humble... the comeback has begun ppl.

To all of u that wrote my mans off, FUCK yall lol.... Victor ortiz is the future of the welterweight division.... suckas

I was thinking about your old threads after his loss last night when i watched him... lol

he had a good comeback fight, Diaz, while lacking great skill, was definitely game

Ortiz took more shots than i would have liked to see but he was out of the ring for a while too... good to see him get back in the ring and go around

he has good skill, very good power and is a southpaw...

still has a good bit of fine tuning to do tho IMO, but on the right track

Oscar put way to much weight on Victors shoulders too early.

Honestly I didn't chalk the Maidana loss up as him lacking "Heart". Look, boxing is just a sport at the end of the day, and if he lacked "heart" he wouldn't have manned up at a young age and took care of his family or survived the way he did growing up.

I just believe he had something going on in his life at the time, and his mind wasn't into boxing that night. His post fight comments only confirmed what I felt. I just think the kid has/had mental issues from everything he was going through and to top it off he and his brother had a falling out around the same time. Something defiantly is going on with the kid, and I just hope he gets the help he needs, not just to see him succeed as a boxer, but to see him succeed in life.

Even Floyd mayweather told Ortiz that he will be a future world champion recently all ortiz has to do is jab and move since his jab is so affective and then exchange or lay down some combos in the later rounds...when ortiz makes his oponnents miss he gets the mental advantage and gets the physical advantage when he starts landing combos...I can see Floyd using ortiz as a sparing partner for the pacquiao fight
