WTF people putting up Pavlik vs Mundine threads too man?

Everyone knows Pavlik would kill that bum.

Calzaghe is light years ahead of Pavlik. Even if Pavlik beats Mayweather and Tyson at the same time in the next fight Calzaghe is still light years ahead. Calzaghe is undefeated and has fought some great SMW fighters.

I Can't believe you guys are giving Kelly a chance in this. The main question for me is whether Calzaghe ends this in the 1st or 2nd round.

Maybe you guys can't see Taylor is a limited fight and Kelly is slow and lacks skills but won on heart alone.

Vs Calzaghe its going to be similar scenes of Calzaghe vs Manfredo.

But please stop with these threads. their unrealistic. Its like a pro fighting a school kid. Pavlik stands no chance. Pull out your national bias for half a second and pay Joe the respect he deserves.

Only chance calzaghes got is to slap Pavlik to death for 12 rounds and not get hit.... Hell yeah I wanna see this fight...I wanna see the best American againts Joe and at this point that would be the New Middle Weight Champ of the world.

Those threads are totally logical and thers absolutly no way to tell that Joe is light years ahead of pavlik.

yes mate, but my point is Kelly can't be classified as near Calzaghe yet. It would be disrespectful to Joe who has done so much throughout his career.

you are overrating Calzaghe ICREDIBLY.

Pavlik is within Calzaghes class i believe, and he should prove it in his next few fight.

As ive said a bunch of times, i picking Kessler over Calzaghe by late round KO.

Calzaghe would beat Pavlik but it wouldnt be anything like Manfredo. An excellent conditioned, hard puncher with lots of heart will gave ANYONE a tough fight. Pavlik is not unskilled and hes not as slow as people are making him out to be, because while his actual handspeed is comparatively slow, he throws a lot of straight punches that get to the target quickly.

and if you woke up, youd realize that if Calzaghe gets past Kessler, then there is basically no one left in the division for him to fight. So why not put him up against the number one middleweight in the world whos very big for his weight class and whos very fun to watch?

Sakio Bika is a pretty crude fighter, Calzaghe did not quickly, easily dispose of him, and he would not quickly, easily dispose of Pavlik. Pavlik would give him a fight, even tho Calzaghe would have a pretty wide margin on the scorecards in the end.

To me Calzaghe was given that pedestal because he beat Lacy which he followed up by fighting Manfredo...Pavlik just beat Taylor and deserves the Pedestal he is put on...Hope this fight happens... Calzaghe will work kessler....
