you can't even give me a proper rebuttal. Man ya'll ****ing suck at debating. I proved a logical point and you can't counter? Explain what "for" means in your eyes.

    Dictionary:
with the object or purpose of
intended to belong to, or be used in connection with

    Pound FOR pound

    Punch FOR punch

Ever heard someone say "I wanna pound his face in.." etc...pound...punch..same thing.

"FOR" IMPLIES THE ACT OF TRADING. How many times do I gotta say it for you to understand? I don't give a **** what Ring magazine says, they worded their title wrong. They might as well call it "best fighter" if they are talking about all around skill. Pound for pound is toe to toe. you wouldn't even know I watch MMA if I didn't have the gifs in my sig you jackass so keep on committin fallacies, you lost this debate.

The whole PFP schtick is a stoopid gimmick invented by the useless rag, Ring magazine, for the sole purpose of filling up space. It means nothing at all.

pound for pound means if all fighters were in the same weight class then who would come out on top.....therefore meaning who has the best combination of skill and power

pound for pound means who is the best boxer out there regardless of weight class....its so that people in different weight classes can be compared

POUND for POUND as in weight you dumass

                how does for imply trading
your post makes no sense at all....

                  ____________

Totally subjective and completely meaningless. More like some sort of popularity contest. How can you compare a straw-weight or minimumweight, or whatever they call it now, with a heavyweight?

"for" implies the act of trading.

What is a trade? Kobe Bryant FOR Joe Blow. "FOR" implies the act of trading.

If I'm telling you "What's up man? I just went to Jack's house and he gave me Fight Night Round 3 FOR Smackdown vs. Raw 2007"

                    ISN'T THAT A TRADE?
