don't be a biased fool (hard for you, I know). the Haymon side already knew Kovalev had an exclusive deal with HBO, and that if they pretended to want the purse bid the other side would have no interest and they could then rebuild Adonis' public image. it worked for them a little bit, i guess, since a lot of fans are dumber than pet rocks. but if it helps you sleep at night to pretend kovalev doesn't want to fight stevenson, go right ahead believing whatever you want. Krusher stops him in 6 if it ever happens.

If everyone knew that Kovalev was already exclusive to HBO (which runs counter to everything that came out of Kathy Duva's mouth in the build to Kovalev-Pscal) why would the WBC take the unprecedented step of making WBO/IBF/WBA champion Sergey Kovalev the mandatory challenger to their champion, Adonis Stevenson, having seen the political nonsense kill fights beforehand?

Everytime you ask him a question about Stevenson, Kovalev plays dumb like he suddenly doesn't understand, and ask the russian traduction to his sugar daddy, Egis Klimas. The problem is, his manager doesn't translate, he only whispers Kovalev what he has to repeat.

Duva went asking the WBC to force the matchup, thinking Stevenson-Haymon-Michel wouldn't have the choice but to vacate the WBC title. She thought that Stevenson would have replicated the Quillin move. Wow, this lawyer is really unskillful to think that simple.
And to her great surprise, she realize that Stevenson wanted that fight all along. Asking herself, how the F Adonis team are so confident, I have a bad feeling about this one, it's time to throw our bluff card on the map, like I did with the phony lawsuit I was about to lose.

If the purse worth the fight, it could be on HBO, Showtime or PBC, it doesn't matter because the shares would still be at 50% each opponents.
