Centro de Convenciones de Ixtapa, Ixtapa Zihuatanejo, Guerrero, Mexico - Former two division world champion Jhonny Gonzalez (53-8, 45KOs) won a twelve round decision over Eusebio "Cascabel" Osejo (21-13-2, 7KOs) over twelve rounds to capture the USNBC featherweight title of the World Boxing Council. The scores were 115-111, 115-112 and 116-110. It was a tough fight for Gonzalez, who took some shots in the first three rounds and was decked in the fourth. He started to pick up the pace in the mid rounds and close strong as his opponent did not arrive to Mexico to lay down. [
