Daniel Day-Lewis is hands down the bet actor alive right now. When you watch him, you forget it's an actor in a movie, I thought I was watching Abraham Lincoln. It's crazy.
Great film. It'll be hard for the Academy to not give Day-Lewis ANOTHER Oscar for this one.

Joking aside, you're definitely not overstating Day-Lewis' performance one bit. It's odd how the public has no idea what Lincoln sounded like or what his mannerisms were, yet Daniel Day-Lewis did a fantastic job of creating a portrait of the man so believable that I never found myself questioning it's authenticity until after I had left the theater.
