Exellant video and techniques like that one don't seem to be utilized that much anymore. Side stepping and punching off of that move is very effective because you may catch your opponent in a "profile" and when that happens you are OUT of his punching lanes. Another technique to add to the side step is to "pivot" instead of the step, keeping your lead foot in the bucket and punching off that is difficult to perfect, when its mastered its one of the most beautifull moves in boxing. Displaying a great offensive move means adding defense to it also. Positioning to off set your opponents balance is the method I taught and the technique takes great eye/ feet co-ordination. When these types of techniques are on display the "art" of the sport is evident. ...........good job Barry, welcome back! Ray.
