i've only been to the netherlands & italy. i don't consider landing in an airport visiting. amsterdam would get boring in no time. i'd say somewhere along the meditarranien.i found the countryside of italy beautiful but most of the cities i went to were dumps. rome & naples were filthy. sorrento was okay only along the coast but you went on a bus away from the tourist areas & it was filthy as well. positano was nice but the island of capri was beautiful but small. sicily was nice but again the cities were nothing great. palermo, siracusa, etc were dirty as well. i really don't know where i'd want to live in europe. i'd have to visit places like germany, france, spain,etc before i could make a choice. i'd say from where i have visited it would be positano, italy...
