pac's win against barrera was more significant of a win...he was seen as the huge underdog against barrera and for good reason. he was moving up to 126 for the first time (barrera's weightclass), he wasn't considered top ten p4p, and barrera was considered one of the best p4p fighter at the time (i think he was 3rd best p4p), and pac didn't just outpoint barrera he DEMOLISHED him. with chavez vs whitaker...chavez was moving up in weight to fight pernell whitaker (at a 145lb catchweight), ww is not one of chavez's better weigthclasses, and both guys were seen as one of the best p4p. pac's win was more dramatic, was upset of the year and was much more significant of a win.
