Look at JEWS
Jews only make up 0.2 percent of the world population, but they make up more than ten percent of the Forbes 400 list of the wealthiest people in the world. Also forty six percent of Jews in the United States make over 100k a year while only fifteen percent of the rest of the population make that amount.
Jews study the Torah, which is full of wisdom teachings, problem solving advice, overcoming adversity.
They have always learned to be a success, maybe even without even knowing it.
Many childeren don't ever learn to be successful. As soon as something goes wrong they blame the government, their parents or anyone. Because they have never learned to be a success.

The Torah is a nihilist work full of examples of "arrogant" Israelites being struck down according to the caprices of an unknowable super-entity who can only be sated by making spurious sacrifices via the Divine's representatives on earth, the Levites. Interestingly enough the Divine seemed to like sacrifices that humans find delicious.
If you want to point to any factor accounting for the success of jewish people it's in the cultural judaism which emphasises hard work, frugality and saving and planning for the future.
